Christina Hall telling paps she’s putting herself first as her divorce from Josh Hall takes a messy turn. The HGTV star slamming him over finances, “You know, things happen for a reason.” A day after her estranged husband shared this photo of a sculpture spelling out “hope” on his Instagram story.
Christina reposted the image with a message of her own, writing, “I hope she pays me millions more than what she’s already offered me,” a not-so-subtle nod to the money drama involved in their split. “I trust my gut, I trust my intuitions, and so far they haven’t steered me wrong.”
In legal documents obtained by ET, Christina claims Josh transferred $35,000 of her income into his personal bank account. Josh is also asking for spousal support, but Christina’s fighting that too, saying, “I have worked my ass off to build this life for myself and my children, and anyone who would try and take what they do not deserve/what they did not work for should be ashamed. I need to move forward and be happy because, you know, we have one shot at it, so might as well make the best of it.”
One of the other ways Christina is moving forward: trying to make peace with her ex-husband and instead by re-following him on Instagram. What’s that about? Because everyone wants to know, is he going to replace Josh on “The Flip Off”? “Oh, good question,”
the pap and Christina referring to “The Flip Off,” an in-the-works series set to follow Christina and Josh competing against her other ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and his wife Heather El Moussa in home renovations. “I will do whatever it takes to win. Bring it on. Tarek and I, we met at work, so we’re used to working together, and honestly, it just, I think it comes really easy to us. And now with Josh out of the picture… is he?” “No, he’s not.” “No, for sure, for sure.” “That would actually make a good show, it really would be good for ratings, but no, I can’t work with, you know, any more exes. I already work with T, so no more exes, no more exes. Maybe season 2.”
But Christina does have a bigger reason for extending that olive branch to Ant, and it has to do with their four-year-old son Hudson. “Look, Tarek and Heather and I get along really well, and it’s been really nice being able to co-parent with them like that. And obviously, Ant and I share Hudson, and Hudson’s an amazing kid, and so I feel like he deserves to have us get along. Look, we have kids together, like ultimately, you know, when people don’t get along, it’s hard on the kids, and so it truly is better for the kids first. It’s time to like put all that behind us.”
