Khloe Kardashian recently shared candid details about a facial procedure she underwent after discovering a tumor in her cheek in 2022. On October 11th, the 40-year-old reality star posted photos on Snapchat, revealing the results of her filler injections used to correct an indentation left by the surgery.
Khloe explained that after her doctor removed the tumor, she was left with a noticeable indentation on the side of her face. She waited nine months before getting the indentation filled to ensure everything was medically safe.
Khloe, who shares daughter True Thompson and son Tatum Thompson with ex Tristan Thompson, first spoke about her face tumor on social media in 2022. She noticed a small bump that didn’t go away after seven months and decided to get it biopsied.
The process was documented during the third season of “The Kardashians,” where she revealed that the surgery was more extensive than initially planned.
“I had to have the surgery where they removed the tumor from my face. I remember I had this tiny dot on my face, and they had to open up my cheek.
When they reviewed the labs, they found more had to be removed than expected. I woke up with a huge bandage on my face and stitches inside my mouth,” Khloe shared.
She emphasized the importance of regular skin cancer checkups, urging her fans to be vigilant. “I never imagined that this tiny speck would turn into skin cancer. I can’t fathom what could have happened if I hadn’t gone to the doctor.”
