Reports are circulating that fans can anticipate the first look at Daredevil: Born Again this year, specifically with a release date attached to it. For those who can’t wait—like most of us—to see what Daredevil: Born Again is all about, mark your calendars for the first week of December.
In this video, I’ll address a couple of points. Many of you have been asking why I didn’t discuss a recent report from sources like Daniel RPK or Cosmic Circus, which mentioned that Marvel Studios has finished editing the Daredevil: Born Again trailer and is simply holding onto it for the right moment. I replied to some of you about this but decided it was worth covering in more detail here.
Marvel Studios showcased the Daredevil: Born Again trailer at D23, the same event where they revealed the Thunderbolts trailer. If you compare the Thunderbolts trailer we received with the one shown at D23, you’ll find they are identical.
So, it’s clear that the Daredevil trailer is ready to go; Marvel is just waiting for the opportune moment to release it. They don’t want to drop it randomly; they are searching for a strategic release pattern.
Marvel Studios typically has a well-defined pattern regarding project releases, including when trailers drop for upcoming films and series. It’s safe to assume that the Daredevil trailer will debut soon.
Reports suggest that Marvel Studios will be present at the upcoming D23 Brazil, scheduled for November 8-10. Another report indicates that the trailer may drop as early as the first week of December, potentially coinciding with Brazil’s follow-up convention, which is similar to Comic-Con. While Marvel usually doesn’t participate in that event, they might have some leftover content to share.
With Agatha concluding in October, it would make sense to start building excitement for Daredevil: Born Again just a week later, right before the holiday season and leading up to the next Disney+ series, the animated Spider-Man series.
This timeline aligns well, and I believe it makes the most sense for Marvel to release the trailer in early November rather than waiting until December, although the production status could always affect plans.
